Biography
Sree Deshpande is a Scientist in Process and Analytical Development at Cytiva and is currently based in Toronto. He brings 19 years of experience in the biotechnology field. His career includes work on antibody production and purification at Harvard Medical School’s Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. He also worked at Rutgers University in areas of neurophysiology and hypoglycemia, as well as on the development of point-of-care molecular diagnostic test kits using the GeneXpert platform. For the past seven years, Sree has focused on autologous CAR T cell therapy manufacturing and the Sefia cell therapy manufacturing platform. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from JNT University in Hyderabad and an MS degree from the University of Toledo.
